What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
In Photoshop I have learnt how to add effects to images to make them stand out more. This was used to create borders, images as Polaroid images, stickers and to create adhesive tape. I have also learnt how to text wrap around pull quotes.
In Flickr I have learnt to upload photos, add notes to them where necessary and post them to my blogger.
I have learnt that lighting is important in images. All of my shots were intended to be high-key lighting or black and white. This was difficult to do originally once the areas where the images were taken weren’t always of consistent lighting.
I have learnt that planning is much simpler on paper than working as I go along, because adjustments can be made easier and will make the creation flow much faster and smoother.
