The font used on the cover is sans serif, with one exception underneath the main article. Its colour scheme is black, white and red. The main image is a medium shot which covers the masthead slightly, but is still clear. The clothing worn by Panic! is black and white, which fits in with the used colour scheme. The less iportant articles have smaller meduim close ups. The cover is set out in a basic levelled way - the information gets less important as the page progresses down. First we have the masthead, then the main article, then the secondary articles. The vague articles (Articles that are only advertised by naming the band) are also set out in a similar way. The well-known bands are on the top, whereas the lesser-known bands are on the bottom.
The magazine uses informal language, and includes profanity. This suggests they want to interact with their audience more, who may be mid-teens and older. The reader may look a the vague articles out of curiosity or general intrigue. They do not know what the article is about, but they know who.
