Intially my ideas consist of making a rock music based magazine cover and article since this is my preferred genre of music. If I know more about the genre I will be able to include more information and my work will be much better than using a genre I don't know about.
Since rock music is a wide genre in itself, there will be much more variety for me to write about too. It has lot of history within the style of music, which I could also write about. The genre itself gives me plenty of choice in which articles to write about.
My friends are also a decent source of information based on rock music, and they will be able to help me with the planning process my answering questionnaires and will be used during the audience research.
