The appearance suggests the target audience is older teens and possibly young adults, possibly middle class demographic and below. The colour scheme on this contents page features dull white and dark green backgrounds. The font is Sans serif font, which makes the text simple to read and possibly appear somewhat formal. Pictures demonstrate who, and possibly what, the articles are about. Mostly consists of medium shots, and contains a cartoon of one band mocking Scooby Doo.
Information is put across fairly evenly. The balance of images and text seems to be fairly equal. The sections of the contents are segregated into categories written in red to stand out; Regulars, What goes on, and the Mojo filter. The regulars contains articles that occur in each issue (for example, "Ask Fred" and "Theories, Rants, etc."), What goes on just consists of "Hot news" and the Mojo Filter is filled with reviews of books, DVDs, CDs and so on. It displays the page in which the information is available and a small piece of information about each article. The article titles also stand out by beig larger than the featured text. The images are laid out in a stacked way. The more entertaining image (The parody) is on the bottom, followed by images of CD and album covers, then a picture of a singer. We can assume that this article will be denoted at the most important of the selection.
